Like a smartphone, drone technology increasingly progressing. In the future will be more drone mini size but increasingly clever.
Prediction is revealed by Kevin On, Associate Director of Communication DJI Asia Pacific. He lays out the three trends that will occur in the future drones.
First, the size of the drone will be more compact. Users can easily carry anywhere because it can be easily stored to a backpack though. Second, the battery life will increase.
"Look at our products, from a mere 20 minutes now can be 30 minutes. So use outside the room will be a maximum time of flight," says this bespectacled man.
Lastly, Kevin predicts drones will be more and more like an intelligent robot. At this moment, the drones can already be automated to follow the path, can avoid the various obstacles and look at the environment in 3D.
"(In the future) we will see a small drone with long battery life and smart like a robot," Kevin concluded.
When asked whether the DJI will make the drones to transport people. Kevin replied it was more focused on practical use.
"The idea is quite interesting. But we tend to practical use. For example, to inspect the parking area, monitoring the border. Monitor progress and emergency response. So it can be used by people with fast," added Kevin.
